Established in October 2020, the Bosque Film Society is a non-profit organization focused on promoting film appreciation, education and production in Bosque County, Texas while serving as the “Friends of The Cliftex Theatre,” the longest continuously-operating movie theater in Texas.
CHARTER MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
Those interested in becoming a part of the Bosque Film Society can join as a CHARTER MEMBER between Aug. 1-Oct. 16, 2021 for the annual fee of $30, good through Dec. 31, 2022. Members signing up during this window will receive an exclusive Bosque Film Society Charter Members Only polo shirt and be eligible for our one-time only Charter Membership Drive Prize Drawing.
REASONS TO BECOME A MEMBER
▪ To fellowship with like-minded, movie buffs from Bosque County’s “film-friendly communities”
▪ To participate in the planning of themed movie events locally
▪ To promote film appreciation through discussion & presentations of different likes & tastes
▪ To promote film education through understanding techniques and concepts
▪ To promoting film production by providing hands-on opportunities for members
▪ To develop an annual film festival in Bosque County
CHARTER MEMBER WELCOME PARTY
Everyone becoming a charter member will be invited to attend a welcome party held at the historic Cliftex Theatre on Nov. 16 at 6:30 p.m. Charter members will receive their exclusive polo shirts and also have an opportunity to vote on the film selections for the six Bosque Film Society Film Appreciation Presentations in 2022 held bi-monthly at the historic Cliftex Theatre.
CHARTER MEMBER DRAWING
Everyone who joins as a charter member will be entered into a prize drawing with a number of prizes only our new members can win. Winners will be announced and awarded at the welcome party Nov. 8.
Grand Prize: the Bosque Film Society board members will host a private party for the winner at the historic Cliftex Theatre, where the film of your choice can be presented to your guests.
