  5. OLD BUSINESS – Discussion and possible action concerning:

a. Film tribute to honor the late Fred Ward (passed away May 8, 2022)

i. Tremors (1990) & The Right Stuff (1983) double feature Tuesday Dec. 27

ii. Plans for Fred Ward documentary (15-20 minutes)

b. Hosting Billy The Kid Film Festival award-winning film presentations

i. Confirm with Philip Vasquez

ii. Lock down date to hold event

iii. Consider who would receive special invites to attend

c. 2023 new membership drive & film selections

i. Social media marketing

ii. Encouraging film nomination input prior to November meeting

iii. Select special day/date to hold membership meeting

iv. Consider possible days to move monthly film showings

d. Possible support for Cliftex Theatre Halloween event

i. Showing classic silent film Nosferatu (1922)

ii. Music provided by Midway High School Orchestra accompaniment

iii. Planning two showings Friday, October 18

  1. NEW BUSINESS – Discussion and possible action concerning:

a. Support for Clifton Main Street Trick-or-Treat event Mon., Oct. 31

i. Partner wit The Cliftex for candy purchase ($100-200)

ii. Volunteers to man table outside The Cliftex during event

b. Potential new projects
